Meet Joe Pettygrove

Joe is an experienced employment lawyer who represents business owners and management across the full spectrum of employment law. A Ball State University graduate with a law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law, he has handled hundreds of cases before state and federal courts, the EEOC, and other agencies. Joe is known for his practical, problem-solving approach—drawing on his background in his family’s business to understand the real-world pressures employers face.

 

He focuses on workplace investigations, employee medical and violence issues, and HR compliance, and is particularly skilled in obtaining protective orders under Indiana’s workplace violence laws. Joe regularly advises family-owned companies, non-profits, municipalities, and schools, and frequently trains HR and leadership teams on managing sensitive employee matters and organizational changes.
